Would this be suitable to modify as a boiling tub?

I use it for various purposes from bottling bucket to FV, to transferring hot wort from mash tun to boiler. It is pretty sturdy and holds the hot wort easily. However I have never put boiling wort in it so can't say for sure if it would be suitable as a boiler. I know there are lots of home brewers who do use plastic buckets for boiling in so it is quite possible it would be okay.

Hi The hole for the tap is drilled in the bucket but we leave you to fit the tapas you will need to apply petroleum jelly (vaseline) around the sealing washer to form a good liquid seal. Hope this helps Bigger Trading t/as BiggerJugs
