Bubbly musty vino bucket
Good quality, the tap is excellent (just have to ensure that it is seated well as per the instructions). Doing well, 6sixth batch of wine so far, no cracks or issues.

Inadequate tap design and positioning
Good sturdy bucket with large capacity; however, tap is not positioned high enough to clear the surface on which the bucket stands, which means it has to be turned to one side: turning it back when it’s time to use it loosens it, letting contents leak out. I also found it impossible to attach my plastic hose to the tap without triggering a leak meaning I had to pour contents from height with consequent introduction of oxygen to wine must and potential for the introduction of contaminants.

Great product
Great product, good seal on lid and tap. First attempt at beer making in a very long time and this product made it an easy and pleasant experience, just need to sample the brew in 2 weeks.

Usually buckets like this give a bit more than the stated volume—at ...
I had complained that it was small and that I wanted a refund, but a lady called me and insisted it was 33 litres "to the brim". I measured it (probably inaccurately) and it was about a litre and a half short. Usually buckets like this give a bit more than the stated volume—at least the 5-7 gallon ones. But it is very opaque plastic, strong, and has a reliable tap (so far). Not sure why they chose not to put a handle on it though.

Brewed banana beer
At least, I tried to brew banana beer. Bought £40 worth of bananas. Spent 2 hours peeling them. My hands were black by the end. Wear gloves next time. Took four showers, still wouldn’t come clean.Well, at least I had my bananas in. The hard work was done! Water was fine and gradually added throughout the chopping process, if a little high. Yeast added after the boiling water cooled. Then I added 10 kilos of sugar and the water rose up to the top. Panicked.Mulched the bananas in a further panic to try and soak up the water. My hand blender had smoke coming out of it because I dipped it in too deep. Had to bin that sharpish.Slammed the lid on and hoped for the best. Tried to drain the water from the tap to err on the side of caution. About half a pint came out because of the mulching, then nothing. In 15 minutes the top was frothing and the lid was off. Desperately scooped stuff out to rescue a bad job, but that was all the yeasty goodness.Gave up to a sea of howls from my gloating housemate and chucked the lot down the toilet. Locked the bucket in the boiler cupboard to hide my shame and sulked for the rest of the day. Also I better review that Amazon hand blender. Not banana compatible.10/10 would butcher a brew again.

Not a 33 Litre fermenter
I bought this so that when I try to fill a 30L barrel with mead, there will always be enough to reach the top (when I use a 30L fermenter, I lose a litre to sediment)So I was seriously angry to find out after receiving it, that this bin, which is more expensive than a 30L fermenter by a few pounds, has exactly the same dimensions as my 30L fermenting bin. What's worse, is that the quality of this bin is worse than my previous ones from Biowin - there is no airtight seal around the lid, meaning there's no need for an airlock at all, since most gas leaks out around the sides.I would give this a one star review but at least it's semi-useful for a secondary fermenting bin- although if my batch turns out to have failed from lack of pressure or bacteria getting in around the lid I'll change it to a one star review.Basically don't bother; if you have bought it, you'll be disappointed but at least you can (kind of) use it for something.

Good sized tub.
Good solid bucket, would be nice to have quantity markings inside but no problem. Dont over tighten the tap nut as I found it would leak a little. Tap is handy though.
