This is a foam based thin film which should be used over the wooden grip (after removal of factory fitted grip) of badminton racket. It does not have any adhesive on it but it sticks a little due to static electric. Just thicken it as you like and after that apply any type of over grip on it and you are ready to go.Now what is the advantage???As per personal preference some people don't like very thin stock grip of any racket and like some cushion on it. So normal practice is to apply two over grip one after another to make it a bit thicker and soft. Now each grip has an average weight of 10 gm (approx) and adding two grip will increase the weight of racket to 20 gm which is a big weight addition. Eventually it will shift the balance point of the racket towards its handle part and will make any racket head light and you will loose the feel of the racket and the way it's meant to be played. So using this cushion wrap will not increase the weight of the racket or shift the balance point and it will also reduce some vibration and provide a nice soft feel on handle. Also a softer grip protects elbow by reducing the vibration.To protect it first apply it on wooden handle of the racket and after you reach a considerable thickness, wrap it loosely with a wide thin transparent tape (don't make it tight) then apply the over grip on it. So this tape will protect the fragile GR-50 from tearing when you change the over grip.
