This finely engraved multi-color banknote was issued in the early to mid-70's when Iraq was ruled by none other than Saddam Hussein. Indeed, his portrait graces the note which dances with intricate pastel color designs both front and back (which shows ancient Mideast temples) The U.S. was at war with Hussein for over a decade and to this day remains involved in Iraq. He may not have had weapons of mass destruction but he left behind this super nice piece of currency. Remains Gem Crisp Uncirculated. Buy 2 and they will have consecutive Arabic numbers.
