Our original full color Live Oak Family Tree print displays 9 generations on one side of the ivory parchment look paper. Lines connect the blocks to make it easy to chart your generations. An open heart is perfect for recording a special marriage. 255 blocks record the first 8 generations, 128 blocks across the top pair husband and wife for a total of 256 names in the 9th generation. 15 bonus columns of 12 lines each give you a total of 180 lines to use as you wish. Use those columns for descendants, their spouses, grandchildren, historical notes and photos, honors and awards, military service, meaning of your name, flags of your ancestors, heraldic devices, even autographs! These columns are your bonus spaces to customize exactly the way you want. Free with every chart is an 11 x 17 inch worksheet to help you plan your chart, and a tip sheet. Ships safely rolled in a sturdy 26 inch mailing and storage tube. A note to new researchers: This is an ancestry chart. It traces your direct lines back in time, starting with the youngest in the big block or among the roots. Next 2 blocks up, parents. Next 4 blocks above, grandparents, and so forth. It does not show your aunts, uncles, or cousins unless you put them on the bonus columns. A different type of chart, called a descendant's chart, shows founding parents, their children (your aunts & uncles) below, and below each of the children, the grandchildren (your cousins).
