1978 Goebel Hummel Annual Plate

Description

This item is the 1978 issue in the Hummel Christmas series from Goebel titled, "Happy Pastime". The plate is 7 1/2" in diameter by 7/8" deep at the upper rim and has a rub on the "7" and "8" in the date and a wear line below the birds beak. The decoration is a young girl in a black dress, white with yellow squares apron, and an orange scarf knitting by a tree singing to a bird. The plate is back marked, "HUM 271" and comes without issue box or paperwork and is the eighth issue in the series. The piece has no chips, cracks, or crazing.
