It really works most effectively at scaring away yellowjackets!
Seriously, if you want to keep yellowjackets from making your backyard picnics unbearable, get this deterrent. Many years of late summer turned into wasp evasion exercises. Once this was in place, 30' from where the picnic table is, only bother was one stray during all of August and September. It really works well. Better than any bait trap I have tried, and I have tried many. Don't wait, just get one and enjoy your back yard again!

Works! Follow the instructions
This works really well IF you follow the instructions. You must kill all your wasps and nests 1st bc they are territorial. Putting this up tells the "scouts" that they dont want to build here. We've gone from a infested backyard to only seeing the occasional scout to checkout the area sometimes. This makes me feel so much safer with my toddler playing outside.

Gets the job done
Every year we've have yellow jackets creating a hive. Well, last year I didn't notice we had one near my mother's mini van I was cleaning, and while cutting branches away from the vehicle, I'd kicked a 4x4 into the dirt, out of my way. Guess who didn't know there was a nest there, didn't realize that those weren't ants all over until she was swarmed? Yup. This one. Accidentally killed one, had them swarm. Ran past hive on ground, had them go absolute "murder her!" on me. Were all over my back, and through wearing two tank tops and jeans with boots, was I think all that saved me from worse. I had FIVE stings. And I can't take allergy meds unless I wanna go horror movie creeper crawler on the ceilings. So this year I decided to look up a fake nest. See if I could find anything like it. This came up, and despite it being more costly I was all . . . yes. I'm the only one tending the yard, I don't want another nest cropping up, and we have baby cottontails often in our yard during Spring, so I bought this, put it up just as the weather starting warming after the last frost or so. Have only seen the rare yellow jacket flying around our cherry tree, haven't seen any nesting (from all the normal places and where I've checked), and I am SUPER glad of that. I may end up getting one next year for the back yard just to be sure I've got all the spaces covered. It's really well made. I am super thankful. I live in the PNW so I couldn't do a paper one.

Good with observation
This might be to early to claim if this product is effective however there is less hornets and wasps. This product might be more situational to certain properties. However the product itself is good for its design. The material is strong and pretty easy to figure out. To smooth it out use warm water and it should be fine.

No Wonder They Are Sold Out!!!
We live out in the country by the lake. We are constantly getting taken over by dirt daubers, yellow jackets, carpenter bees, and worst of all the Mack daddy red wasps that just sting you because they’re just as hot and miserable outside as you. I had heard about hanging a fake hornets nest like a brown paper bag but all that would do around here is draw more spiders. I searched fake hornet's nest and this product appeared. Compared to all the others, it was a little pricey. But look at it. It’s made of weatherproof material, able to withstand an Arkansas thunderstorm. So what the heck, I thought I would try a couple. It would be worth a shot to be able to use our patio again and even walk out the door without a new wasp nest showing up in my wreath. It would be nice not to feel like every day you had to “defend” your own porch from “evaders”! When these came in, I was skeptical. They were crumpled up in a plastic bag and looked kinda cheap. (I’m not really sure what I was looking for.) I read the directions and hung them up. I might add to put a few pieces of gravel in the bottom just so it doesn’t blow in the wind too much. Y’all, it’s just pretty darn amazing! There are no mud nests on the ceiling in our pavilion, no wasps nests in the eaves of our house, and I have yet to be dive bombed when I walk out the door! I will say we are just in the first part of May but they’ve usually at least stung one of the dogs by now but so far we have all been safe! However, I returned to order some more of these and they are SOLD OUT!!! I sure hope they get more of these in soon because I’m giving them to friends and family! They are a game changer! Now if someone could invent something like this for ticks, chiggars, and snakes, I would be eternally grateful!🤣

Purchased in 2021, made the mistake of leaving outside for almost 2 years straight, still in perfect condition. Now I now to take out in April and take down in fall. Out of stock for awhile, so purchased through viabox directly from compony but would prefer to purchase through Amazon.ca
