The Beajour, 40 cm sailboat made in France by Maison Tirot (stand included). Handcrafted from solid beech wood from Breton forests, this boat is a replica of classic sailboats, with a skirt-shaped transom and Bermuda rig with a jib struck at the bow. In Breton Beajour means Voyageur. Equipped with a keel and ballast, the Beajour can withstand the wind and sail like real sailboats. Its use is rather reserved for navigation in open water (pond, pond, lake or open sea). A toy boat for young and old, also very popular in decoration in a child's bedroom or in the living room. Recommendations for use: Tirot toy boats are made by hand, in a Breton workshop, according to the same know-how and the same gestures transmitted from generation to generation since 1946. Robust, they will live long years provided they give them the care they need. Wood is a living material that reacts to water. Despite all the care taken in the manufacture of these boats, in prolonged contact with water it is possible that the latter will deteriorate. It is important to let your boat dry in the shade and sheltered from too hot after each use. In particular, avoid drying a boat on a radiator running or in full sun in summer.
