Pair of Beautiful Large Cast Iron Trellis Shelf Brackets – 12" (30cm) by 10" (26cm)A decorative shelf bracket with a Victorian vine and leaf design.Perfect for elegant book shelves or to support a sink or cistern.Cast using traditional sand-casting techniques from an authentic Victorian pattern.These brackets can be used either way round for a larger or smaller shelf.Natural iron finish with a lacquer protection. Pre-drilled with three holes on the long side and two holes on the shorter side. Fixing screws included (Please note - different screwsmay be required depending on load and wall construction.)Dimensions: 300cm (12") by 255mm (10").Widest part is 32mm (1") tapering to 19mm (¾") wide.Weigh 1kg each approx. Price is for two brackets.How they are madeThese brackets are "sand cast" - the same process used to make the original Victorian brackets.Molten iron is poured into sand moulds formed using an antique Kenrick pattern.When cool, the casts are hand finished and lacquered.This makes an authentic antique style which is not machine finished.
