Description

This 16 ounce jar of Dorland's Wax Medium is a mixture of waxes and resins that can be used with oil paint, powdered pigments, powdered metals, colored sands, dyes and other compatible fine art materials. Versatile in it's application Dorland's Wax can be tempered with oil colors or pure pigments, used in mixed media as a wash or dough then applied over drawn or painted artwork. Museum-quality with a matte finish protective coating this wax can be used for cleaning, preserving and polishing antiques and paintings. Not recommended for hot wax painting.
