Product description Please note that the basic process of this water hardness test (titration = dripping of liquid) is a very good but not a perfect process. For all tests that are not carried out in the laboratory (e.g. the sticks), there may be measurement deviations due to application errors. Please note that 1) the titration liquid has room temperature, 2) the bottle with the titration liquid at an angle of approx. 45° when you drip in the titration liquid, 3) actually 5 ml of water in the test tube and 4) after each drop that has been dripped, you can swing the measuring tube sufficiently. It is also important to know that reference values (other tests, water hardness data from the waterwork) may be inaccurate. The hardness level indicated by the water works can vary by up to 5° German hardness within the same day, which is due to the fact that waters are mixed with different hardnesses. Directions Fill the bottle with sample water and add the reagent drop by drop until a color change from red to green occurs. 1 drop of reagent corresponds to 1 dH. Spirit and reagent are included in this water test set.
