Our beautiful Banana Flowers are grown on our farms in Thailand and are cut at the perfect stage for eating. Banana Flowers and hearts are used as vegetables in South Asian and Southeast Asian cuisine, either raw or steamed with dips or cooked in soups, curries and fried foods. Banana Flower is added to Tom Yum & Tom Kha Soups, and eaten as an accompaniment. It is used to make Yum Hua Plee, Banana Flower Salad. You can also boil it, chill and eat with chilli paste or Thai dips such as Prik Pao or Namprik Kapi. It can also be fried to make Tod Mun Hua Plee. Our Banana Flowers are picked fresh to your order. We then clear them on landing in the UK & deliver them straight to you.
