Every year, millions of disposable paper cups are used to serve coffee and other beverages to customers in coffee shops, cafes or restaurants. The cups are made of paper fibres covered with a thin layer of plastic that acts as a barrier against leakage of liquids. The paper fibres used are of high quality and can therefore be brought to a new life and upcycled into new and useful everyday items. The My Rec'Up range from Oxford is an assortment of 100% recycled notebooks with a special feature: the envelopes are made from 100% recycled cardboard, which contains 20% recycled fibers from disposable coffee cups. The paper cups are collected, pressed into bales and sent to a recycling facility where 100% of the paper fibres used to make the cups are reprocessed into paper. The high quality of the fibres ensures a high-quality cardboard with a natural feel. The covers are subtly printed and available in six natural colours: almond green, sky blue, steel grey, stone, pale pink and taupe. The My Rec'Up series contains 100% natural white recycled paper for a pleasant writing experience without the ink showing through. The A5 and A4 Rec'Up notebooks are compatible with the free SCRIBZEE application. Scan and store your handwritten notes in the cloud and give new life to paper fibres by returning your notebook to the recycling cycle after use.
