Lemon verbena, also known as "cidrón" in Spanish, is a perennial herbaceous plant belonging to the Verbenaceae family and native to South America. It has long green leaves that emit a pleasant lemon scent when crushed or rubbed. The flowers are small and white or purple and appear in clusters at the top of the stems. Lemon verbena grows up to a height of 30-60 cm and prefers warm and humid climates.
