Reconnect the blade one bolt at a time. - Reattach one bolt at a time. Position each so it connects the hand loppers to the blade. Add the original washer and nut. - Tighten the nut until the head of the bolt begins to spin. Use pliers to hold the head of the bolt static to finish tightening. - Do not over-tighten the bolt! The gardening loppers still need to pivot smoothly. Loosen nuts slightly if lopping shears don't open and close easily. - Repeat the process for the second bolt.
