This valve cover breather that simply replaces your factory twist on oil cap on your valve cover. It is beneficial for cars that do not have a PCV system that can keep up with thier engine. This will fix the dreaded dipstick popping up issue. It does this by venting excess crankcase pressure when it builds up. We have been told that people have been seen power gains and lower oil temps after installing it. This update version of our valve cover breather only stands at 2.75" tall so it fits better in tighter spots. This is a simple one piece design, other venders breathers make adapters to mate to an aftermarket breather. This one is made based off of the factory oil cap and includes a sealing O ring. *PCM programming required, since it is venting your crankcase and disabling your PCV valve. Fits: Cobalt, Ion Redline, G5, Pursuit, Sky, Solstice, Regal, Grand Prix, Bonneville, Park Ave, Impala, Monte Carlo, LS v8 (Corvette, Camaro, Firebird, GTO, G8), and many other GM vehicles with a single alignment pin valve cover. Fits GM vehicles that have a single notch in the oil cap hole that secures the oil cap. Remove oil cap and look into the hole. Newer GM vehicles have two notches. This is a single notch.
