Cover Valet CRX Spa Cover Lifter

Works well with the SoftTub, requires very little clearance as you can see from the photos. Simple and sturdy.

I love my cover valet. It works just as advertised. to save space and makes it easy to take off/put on the cover with only one person and minimal effort. It seemed a little flimsy at first, but tighten down the nuts and adjust it to fit and you've got a great tool for ease of use.

Aluminum arms are not strong enough for normal use. Our brackets broke within 30 days of installation and only a few uses.We have a basic spa system/square cover. We thought our spa cover would be good fit for this product. However, breakage occurred under normal use.The stress point in the arms that hold the cover is is too much when in use. This problem is made worse due to the pre-existing holes/slots, these are the holes/slots that allow the arms to swing flush into the spa when not in use. This is an engineering defect and deficiency of the system when used properly. Needs stronger tubes to be a good product.

I purchased this in December 2019. It has been in constant use and has held up very well. Since it is out in the afternoon sun every day, the Powdercoat finish is wearing off, but that is to be expected. I'm very satisfied with this product. If it breaks in the future, I will buy another one.

I gave 3 stars because we just set it up today and oy time will tell if it holds up. There were inconsistencies with the instruction videos and the paper instructions and it took 30-40 minutes. Pieces that were shown in the video were not the same as what were supplied in the package but we managed toHave all the needed supplies with 4!extra washers when all was said and done. We tested it on our triangle 2 person hot tub lid and it worked just as we had hoped. The auto adjusting legs were easy to set up to The height of our hot tub and we didn't experience any issues because our hot tub lid is a small triangle but I'm not sure how it would hold up with larger lids.It doesn't seem as hardy as we might have expected and is hallow and light weight. I am hoping it will survive the winter season.No news is good news so if the item operates and works as expected I won't be back to update this review. If it breaks as some people have experienced then I will update this review.

Exactly what I needed. I needed an undermount cover lift that kept the cover up off the ground a little bit. So far has worked great with no issues a all.

The instructions did not match the contents and were near to impossible to identify from the pictures. If not for the reference to the video online, I might still be attempting to put it together. The baseplate was drilled differently than what the written as well as video instructions detailed, the screws were not tapping screws. I had 4 black washers that had no apparent use and did not fit the screws. Maybe someone substituted these for the cover caps; who knows.The cover caps for the silver screws were not mentioned in the booklet, and not included in the bag that was referred to as contents, by the video.The button cap screws used to secure the closure were not tight so I had to insert washers to fill the space.I purchased the Cover Valet CRX, but received the box and contents labelled as Cover RX. The box was from Keller Supply.Only time will tell if this was a good purchase but my initial reaction was outdated instructions and packaging that did not match,

Convenient cover valet/ lifter , able to move if necessary, easy to put together. Just what we needed.
