The CaSela combines Sela's years of experience in cajon construction with state-of-the-art production methods. In this way, completely new optical and acoustic possibilities open up, which were previously not possible. All components are "Made in Germany" with quality of the highest level. The extra strong body made of 15 mm birch guarantees optimal sound development. Solid rounded corners made of fine maple wood and the Sela Thin Splash playing surface ensure a pleasant, fatigue-free playing feeling. Thanks to the design, it is possible to replace the playing surface subsequently. The Pro version with snare lever unlimited sound variety - comfortable and easy. Simply push the snare lever backwards, the snare sound is switched on or off. The ergonomic and technically optimal position of the lever makes a lightning-fast switching possible even during playing. When snare switched off, a traditional Peruvian cajon sounds with fine response and balanced frequency spectrum. Turn on the snare again, you get the typical Sela sound with a differentiated bass and snare sound. The sound can be steamed or amplified depending on your taste. It is even possible to use a second Sela snare crossbar. In addition, the CaSela has individually adjustable clap corners, which results in more interesting sound possibilities.
