See our Shop or other listings to get extra hot & cold packs Indications The hot packs are great for effective temporary relief of muscle tension, muscular discomfort or pain, back ache, menstrual cramps, sciatica and lumbago. The cold packs help with reducing swelling and bruising, relieving muscular discomfort from bruises and sprains and temporary relief from toothache and headaches. Alternatively immerse for 4-10 mins in boiling water that's been taken off the heat (check for correct temperature after 4 mins and in 1 min intervals afterwards until the temperature is right). To cool put the pack in the freezer for an hour. Insert the pack into the fabric sleeve and apply to the affected area, using the velcro to adjust. Safety Warning It's advisable to use the wrap/ cover, or to wrap the packs in cloth before applying directly to the skin. When frozen applications of the cold pack should be limited to about 20 minutes, then take a break before re-applying the pack. See more
