Externally mounted double bolt locking device provides the maximum protection for your sliding glass doors. The high security locks are different from other sliding glass door locks because they mount directly to the sliding glass door above your pre-existing sliding door lock utilizing metal to metal technology for unsurpassed strength and protection. This easy to install lock has been approved by the AAMA (American Architectural Manufacturer's Association) and has been tested to withstand over 1000 lbs. of forced entry load tension (AAMA 1303.5), verified by Hurricane Engineering & Testing Inc. The double bolting locks are great protection from break-ins as well as a childproofing device.
