Ingredients Active Ingredients: One of the active ingredients in this medicine is Lidocaine Hydrochloride. This is the new name for Lignocaine Hydrochloride The ingredient itself has not changed Lidocaine Hydrochloride BP 2.0% w/w Zinc Sulphate BP 1.0% w/w Cetrimide BP 0.5% w/w Also contains: Hydroxyethylmethylcellulose, Polysorbate 20, Nonoxynol 9, Propylene Glycol, Menthol, Water Directions Directions For Use. Apply a small amount of Lypsyl Cold Sore Gel to the affected area with a clean finger tip at the first sign of infection and then 3-4 times a day. Do not wash off. Not recommended for children under 12 years. Caution. Avoid contact with eyes. Occasionally skin irritation or sensitisation may occur. If this happens, or other unwanted effects occur, discontinue use and consult your doctor or pharmacist. Wash hands after use. If symptoms persist, consult your doctor.
