Please check your controller before ordering: This product comes in 5 variants. It is best to disassemble your controller and check the model number of your board. This part only replaces JDS-040. DualShock 4 USB Charging Port / Charger Socket Board - JDS-040 Features Fits Sony Playstation 4 (PS4) Version 2 (V2) 1st Gen Controllers for PS4 Pro and Slim Includes 12 pin ribbon cable IC board with 12 pin charging socket Used to repair charging port and connect it to the controllers mainboard Controller disassembly is required but the part is modular (plug and play) so requires no soldering Opening the controller may void its warranty and is done entirely at your own risk. There are numerous guides online showing how to fit these and it is advised that you familiarise yourself with the process before buying so you know what to expect. Compatibility Only replaces JDS-040. Your charger port will be located on a board which should look like the main product image and have the model number JDS-040 printed on it. If your board is printed with JDS-001, JDS-011, JDS-030 or JDS-050/055 you will need one of the other variants. Perfect replacement if you need to repair/replace a faulty micro USB port on your DualShock 4 V2 1st Gen. Requires a philips #00 screwdriver to fit and a plastic opening tool is advised to pop the controller housing open. Screwdriver and opening tool not included.
