This doorbell comes with a 16V/30VA transformer (model 30TR) that can power up to three hardwired doorbell chimes or modern smart video doorbells. The transformer is designed to eliminate issues caused by underpowered transformers, such as connection problems, low video resolution, and low chime volume. The CHM1 has dimensions of 7-1/4' W x 4-1/8' L for the cover and 7' W x 3-7/8' L for the base, with an overall depth of 2'. Please note that while customers have reported success using the CHM1 and a 16V/30VA transformer with a video doorbell, we cannot guarantee compatibility.
