One of the most popular Thomas & Friends locations comes to life as toddlers create their own educational adventures for James and Owen at Blue Mountain Quarry!  My First Thomas & Friends Railway Pals vehicles and train sets deliver fun-filled play that encourages development in toddlers through motor skills, thinking skills, academics and imagination.  When toddlers roll James over the track activation points on this Mountain Adventure train set, he'll deliver sounds, songs and phrases that teach letters, numbers and directions.  Each of the set's four activation points will trigger unique sounds and phrases – one activation point for music, one for letters and numbers, one for directions (over and under), and one for Blue Mountain Quarry-themed content.  Toddlers can also press James' light-up bumper to hear him talk and sing, or activate it by bumping him into the crossing gate.  For even more exciting ways to play, toddlers can raise the boulder using the lift on the side of Owen, watch it roll down the slide into the bin, then place it in the rotating scoop and spin it 'round and 'round.  These activities aren't just engaging; they also promote motor skills, foster curiosity, inspire imagination, and introduce cause and effect.  Plus, other Railway Pals vehicles – like Thomas, Percy, Harold and Rosie – interact with the activation points on this set to provide their own unique, educational content.  Additional Railway Pals interactive train sets can also connect with Mountain Adventure to build a talking, singing world of play!  (Additional vehicles and train sets sold separately and subject to availability.)
