Proper water temperature is essential to maintain the health and well-being of your fish. Most tropical species will thrive when the temperature is maintained within the safety zone indicated on the thermometer scale. Thermometers can be attached inside the aquarium to glass using a suction cup provided or float freely in the water. If the tank temperature is not at the desired level, adjust the aquarium heater slightly and check the temperature after one hour. Repeat adjustments as necessary until the desired temperature is reached. Refer to the heater manufacturer's instructions for more information.
