Our coconut sugar is low-glycemic, thereby making it acceptable for use by diabetics as it does not spike blood sugar. But, our coconut sugar is good for anyone in need of a healthy sweetener. Our coconut sugar is not really a 100% replacement for other sugars. It is not as sweet and has a mellow flavor, sort of slightly caramel-ish, yet pleasant nevertheless. It does not taste so good in black coffee as well as tea without creamers. But is excellent otherwise.
