SHEHRI KISAAN Cactus, Succulent & Terrarium Soil MixThis mix contains a light weight, airy and research based mix of Pumice Volcanic Stones, Activated Charcoal, Perlite and Vermicompost. This is a 100% dry mix which contains less than 10% water holding media such as vermicompost. You could add coco peat or vermicompost or any water holding medium as per your plant watering requirements. We recommend using this soil mix as is with no addition or modification. Graded Material with same particle size which should all pass through 8mm mesh. This mix is distinguished by what it doesn't have in it, peat moss or coir. The absence of peat is key to getting rid of fungus gnats, but surprisingly almost all commercially available cactus and succulent mixes are made with coco peat or peat moss. What is in it?Volcano Rocks – Excellent for retaining nutrients and provides the best drainage Activated Charcoal – For its anti fungal, porous and nutrient retention abilities. Slow fertilizer that keep succulents and cacti happy. Perlite Powder – For healthy expansion of roots and releasing excess water into pumice stones. Vermicompost – Less than 10% in this mix only to provide basic nutrients for first time planting or repotting.
