and impatiently transfer you to other useless department, like price match department who price matches ...
I purchased 4 of these protectors to replace old ones damaged in recent thunderstorm. However, when contacting Amazon's customer service, I was told there's no any warranty for connected devices, even though description clearly states that.Considering all the pain I went through for warranty with my old protectors, I canceled my order immediately. If customer service denied warranty before I even try to claim, it's ultimately impossible to get any loss back.I don't know what happen to Amazon, but customer service quality went down skyfall. Once the chat begin, they start denying everything before you even ask, and impatiently transfer you to other useless department, like price match department who price matches nothing, even with their own.

Just what I needed!
This was exactly what I needed. I have a TV in a cabinet that was pretty far away from the nearest power outlet. I hate to admit that I had a daisy-chained setup with two power strips (each with 6-foot cords) plugged together to power my TV/speakers/FireStick/etc. Obviously, this was a poor solution. Finally I found this AmazonBasics surge protector with a 12-foot cord. It had the main features I was looking for -- angled plug for the wall outlet, well-spaced outlets for my gear, and a promise of surge protection, not just a power strip.Like other reviewers have said, it would have been great to include a couple of USB plugs in this too. I'm not quite sure what to do with the cable attachments on this surge protector. I don't have cable TV, but I use a digital antennae -- what are you supposed to do with this? Plug the antennae into the adapter, and then plug another cable from the adapter to the TV? Nevertheless, this met my basic needs without adding a lot of bulk -- and finally everything is plugged into a single surge protector in the cabinet. No more daisy chain. And like many AmazonBasics products (and I have a few), the price was right.

Buyer beware. The product description is wrong. There is no $300,000 Connected Equipment warranty.
Buyer beware. The product description is wrong. Very wrong. After reading the warranty, is DOES not specify the $300,000 Connected Equipment warranty at all. The warranty only specifies 1 year for the surge strip itself. I just emailed Amazon customer service suggesting they fix the description or add connected equipment to the warranty immediately. Will be curious if they do correct the listing -- and how long it will take.

Well Made!
Well made surge protector. Like the two LED indicator lights which light up -- one indicates that the protector is plugged into a grounded outlet and the other one indicates that the proctor is working properly. The off/on/reset switch and circuit breaker (15 amp breaker) automatically switches off if there is an overload. After dealing with the cause of the overload, just switch the unit back on. The outlets are well spaced and have sliding safety covers. Just slide the covers over the unused outlets to protect them from dust. The plug that plugs into the wall is flat, curves down and does not interfere with any corners. Also it has surge protected connections for cable and satellite and 3 data line connections. Right now I have my Smart TV and DirecTV control box plugged into it. I will be adding my DVD player, WII Fit and Sonos later. I will be buying another one for the office/craft room.Just bought one for my daughter.

Great -- but what happened to the 10-foot cord?
Needed new surge protectors to provide power to a new computer desk. Nearest available outlet was a little ways away, which made the outlet strip I bought -- exactly the same as the one you see before you here but with a 10-foot cord in lieu of the 8-foot cord -- perfect. Plenty of reach, plenty of outlets, and outlets are spaced nicely to provide room for wall warts/ odd-shaped power supplies/ etc.But seriously -- what the heck happened to the 10-foot cord model? I love this so much I went back to buy a second, and it has mysteriously disappeared into thin air. What gives, Amazon? I mean, sure, the eight foot will suffice, but was demand so much lower for the 10 foot cord that you summarily killed it?If so - please bring it back...

Thumbs up!
I needed a new surge protector for the underside of my standup desk and the size and specs of the AmazonBasics were a perfect match. A few pieces of double sided tape and I was up and running. I like how the plugs are organized and leave plenty of space for power adaptors. I’ve had great luck with AmazonBasics products in the past as they are well made and an excellent value.

Great product for good price
I just replaced my Belkin 6-outlet charging port with this AmazonBasics 12-Outlet, and the experience has been pretty good because of the way it was design. I'm still unclear whether I could plug my 8,000 BTU Portable AC in it, so still waiting for someone to clarify it. Overall, it's a great product, and I believe it's even better than the Belkin 12-outlet because it the surge protector support is better on this one. That's also one of the reasons I went for this one instead of the Belkin other than cheaper.

Surprisingly well-made product by the folks in China. The Belkin outlets I ordered first, I returned. They were literally garbage, they all look like their reclaimed and refurbished junk with cracks, and smelled like they had been shorted out in their past life. Some of the One Star reviews on the Belkin were from many people whose surge protector caught fire and melted the plug and set fire to their wall and outlet! - don;t know if they were idiots and overloaded the surge strip?Buy these instead, they seem to be much better construction and have a higher surge rating. Also plugs are nice and tight for maximum electrical contact. Belkin really sucks now, can't believe what garbage they produce.

Excellent Value - High Capacity
This is a very high quality surge protector - better than many higher-priced brand name units that I have seen. The wide spacing of the outside plugs is ideal for accommodating power bricks without blocking adjacent outlets. A good quality power switch and cord, two LEDs, heavy duty construction, and a high surge protection rating are other features that I liked. This is the second "Amazon Basics" item I have purchased and I consider both to have been excellent values, and will be making this a "go to" brand for future purchases. Keep up the good work.

Must have for almost every por
I purchased this in 2017, and it is still functioning well!Really well organized. Well worth the buy, and a must have for almost any electronic hub. I personally use this near my desk and currently houses my PS3, PS4, 2 Monitors, my desktop PC, my printer, and my lamp.Has a switch to turn on/off, and the plugs all oriented well organized so no matter what weird shape my plug is, it can fit it easily. Also has small tabs on the plugs that you have to push aside which I believe is for safety, but they are very easy to move so it is not a big deal.

Looks good so far
Haven't had the chance to test its power surge protection capabilities yet but it looks good in the window.Seems well-built. Bought 2 and both have the surge and circuit breakers lights functioning out of the box.Hard to find a decent surge protector with a joule rating of over 2500. This one is over 4300 which means a longer life.Had numerous devices to plug into it including the annoying wide adapters which don't fit on a normal power bar.To my amazement this bar took all my plugs with ease. Nice and roomy on the sides for those wide power adapters. Can confirm that the clamping voltage is 500v, not 300v as stated in a U.S. site review.

This is the best powerbar for the money on the market
This is the best powerbar for the money on the market... bar none. (No pun intended)I own a bunch that are the same price and are nowhere near what this offers; another AmazonBasics winner.I was leary at first thinking, oh Great, Amazon is in the business of selling knick-knacks now. Then thought I'd give it a whirl and I am pleasantly surprised. The plug on it is bent 90 degrees, so it helps with cable management.Tons of plugs, 1,800+ watts possible, 8ft cord, not even $25, free shipping, you can't go wrong.

Great Product! Well worth the price.
Fit perfectly in my entertainment stand where I have several consoles and such with different style plugs, some bulky, some not. With plenty of space between the plugs I was able to successfully plug in everything I needed to with extra space. The cord is also plenty long to reach from the outlet to the entertainment stand. It looks a lot better than running all the cords on the floor to a surge protector with a short cord. Also with the light I am able to easily tell if I have power to everything or not.
