The Leveled Texts for First Grade series offers leveled reading materials in the Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies subject areas. This kit features 60 books in total, with five texts for each subject area. Each text includes three reading levels for low-, on-, above-level, and English-language learners, as well as leveled comprehension questions. Each text in the series features the same look, with only the content altering, so students feel confident in their reading level. Saving valuable prep time, this kit ensures teachers will not have to differentiate their classroom reading beforehand. The vibrant images, illustrations, and diagrams will keep students engaged with the grade-level material. The Leveled Texts for First Grade series is aligned with Common Core State Standards, as well as McREL and TESOL/WIDA standards.About Shell Education Rachelle Cracchiolo started the company with a friend and fellow teacher. Both were eager to share their ideas and passion for education with other classroom leaders. What began as a hobby, selling lesson plans to local stores, became a part-time job after a full day of teaching, and eventually blossomed into Teacher Created Materials.
