This simple plug-in countdown timer just couldn’t be easier to use. Timers are the best way to make your home look occupied when you’re away, and are indispensable for turning lights and appliances on and off at the times you choose, but they’re usually very fiddly to set. With this one, you simply plug your device into the socket and press the left-hand button on the top; it will then count down for any period between 15 minutes and 9 hours. If you want it to repeat the same switch on/switch off every day (eg from 4pm for 7 hours), simply press the right-hand button and you’ll never need to set it again.
