Description

BloomBuddy Bio-Soil Fungicide is a talc based formulation containing strains of the beneficial fungus, Trichoderma viride. It controls soil borne plant disease like damping off, wilt, root rot and collar rot. This fungus protects the plants from soil bourn pathogens. It grows fast, coils around the pathogen and penetrates it. The pathogen is eventually eliminated from the soil. Trichoderma species fungi are free-living fungi that are commonly found in soil and plant root. Trichoderma species are important in soil as they can be used as biological agents in controlling many plant diseases and also have plant root growth promoting capabilities.
