ODROID-N2+ is a revision of ODROID-N2. - The maximum CPU clock of the Quad-Core Cortex-A73 has been increased from 1.8 GHz to 2.4 GHz. - The maximum CPU clock of the dual-core Cortex-A53 has been increased from 1.9 GHz to 2.0 GHz. - The RTC backup battery holder is mounted on the board. The main CPU is based on the big.Little architecture that integrates a quad-core ARM Cortex A73 CPU cluster and a dual-core Cortex A53 cluster with a new generation Mali G52 GPU. Thanks to the modern 12nm silicon technology, the A73 cores run at 2.2GHz without thermal throttling, with the standard metal heat sink ensuring a robust and quiet computer. The CPU multicore performance is about 20% and the GPU is 10% faster than that of the N1. The DDR4 RAM of the N2+ runs at 1320 MHz and consumes only 1.2 volts of power. The large heat sink in the metal housing is designed to optimise the heat dissipation of CPU and RAM and minimise throttling. The CPU is placed on the bottom of the PCB to achieve excellent thermal properties.
