Good for drinks, punch, jello oceans, cupcakes...
I bought these to use in “Sharknado” alcohol drinks (in a “fishbowl” glass). I bought the 5lb bag not knowing just how much came with it. They are almost 4” long a piece and there’s LOTS of them. I thought for sure they’d be dried out before they got used up. That was a little over a month ago and I’m getting ready to order more. Lol! The drinks were a hit and so were the sharks! I didn’t count how many in a bag. My guess would b close to 100. They were really soft. They aren’t sour or tart at all. Definitely sweet, but since it’s not an overpowering & distinct flavor, it’s good. It’s not a strong fruit flavor like in gummy worms or bears. It’s kind of a cross between berry and peeps/marshmallow. Maybe the whole thing has the same ingredients, but it seems like the white bottom part has a more foamy texture to it and almost marshmallow taste. The shark belly wasn’t flawless white. Some blue “bleeds” on it (atleast it did in mine). It didn’t bother me. If that bothers you and u need it to be pure-white for a decorative purpose, you may need to check into something else. If they were really powdered up so they wouldn’t bleed on each other in the packaging, then they’d be tougher. So I’m perfectly happy with them as they are. They weren’t all stuck together or anything. Not sticky. But blue that dark is bound to discolor the white in places. And it was also delivered in hot weather, so I’m sure that didn’t help. As for the use in the drink, I was pleasantly surprised they didn’t turn into macerated nastiness OR rubber in liquid like some gummies do. Warning..they WILL turn your tongue blue. If you are using them for a party or wedding, eat them AFTER pics. And don’t drink a sharknado without accepting the fact that every conversation thereafter, people will stare at your tongue while you talk & tell you that you have a blue tongue 😛

YUMMMMMM!! Great gummy!
My son and I are both big fans of gummy candies. He had proclaimed his favorite asthe blue sharks, such as these. I'd had them before too, and while I loved the blueraspberry flavor (yes, in my 50's, blue raspberry is still one of my favorite flavors!),I'd always found the sharks to be TOO gummy - more stiff, thick and not very easy to chew, sort of like chewing on a thumb-sized eraser. He wanted these anyway, so we ordered a 5 lb bag. How big a risk could it really be, after all?If they were horrible, we'd just never order them from here again.Well, they were GREAT!!Without a doubt, we received the freshest gummy candy we'd ever had! The smell alone when openingthe bag was wonderful. Then the taste... super fruity and easy to bite. Each shark was super soft, super fresh and tasty. I am almost ashamed that the four of us went through this 5 lb bag in a fairlyshort amount of time! They were so much better than expected that we "foundered" on them. It was hardto stop eating them.Fresh, fruity, tasty - sharks have moved up the scale to be one of my favorite gummies now too.As long as the sellers keep providing such fresh snacks, we'll keep buying!

Just as I remembered them tasting as a kid and twice the size.
My mom used to get me gummy sharks (amongst gummy versions of worms, strawberries, cola bottles) from the grocery store when I was a kid. I recently found these on Amazon and couldn't resist ordering for the sake of nostalgia. They arrived within a day or two with prime with the package in good condition.First thing I noticed, to my delight, was they were quite large in comparison to the small ones I had as a kid - at least double the size. They measure about half an average fork in length and are about the width of fork-head; Most impressive. My nephews find them a joy to both eat and play with. There were also no deformed ones that I could find. The taste is just as I remembered - a marshmallowey blueberry that is neither under nor overbearing - Simply just right.

Fun and whimsical shark treats
Fun! These gummy sharks are fun and whimsical, a good treat for ocean and shark themed parties. Shape wise they are as expected, they all looked good, no mishappen sharks here. I did get a couple of what I assume are the smaller shark size mixed in, you can see my picture of the two together. The larger shark on the right is what the large size is suppose to be, only a couple of the small ones were mixed in so not a big deal. So the thing is, these really are pretty big, especially when you try to eat one because man are they sweet and as an adult, not that tasty to me anymore. My 5 year old enjoys them and loves the giant size though, so if that’s your main market then you have a winner. But as I tried to taste test and choke one down, it was a bit of a task with how big it was and the fake, sugary taste, and I have a sweet tooth. I think the smaller size would have been better but the larger ones were less expensive.

"Luau" Theme Candy Buffet MUST have! Super Scary Giant Sharks!
Purchased as the "headliner" on the Tropical Candy Buffet for my daughter's Super Secret Surprise Sweet 16 Luau. I put these giant scary sharks in a royal blue tray with sides so it looked like they were swarming all over each other in a pool. I printed out "Beware of Sharks" and "No Swimming" signs, taped them to sticks and stuck them in with the sharks. Next to the shark pool was a bucket (I used beach sand pails) of LifeSavers white candy "Life Preservers!" (just in case anyone fell into the shark pool). The giant blue sharks were a huge hit - even the adults at the party loved them. The teenagers were pretending to be Jaws and gnoshing on the sharks. Everyone said they were tasty and soft. Every time I turned around someone had a shark tail hanging out of their mouth. There were only 5 giant sharks left at the end of the party; however, with giant sharks, 5 pounds isn't a tremendous amount to begin with. I didn't measure them, but based on mouth to tail ratio, I would guess they were 4.5 to 5 inches long. Definitely a must for a Luau/Tropical Theme Candy Buffet.

Good value and fresh
Bought for our sons shark birthday/ fresh and tasty. Definitely worthwhile. Might be cheaper at bulkbarn but way more convenient for a couple dollars more and no one was nibbling cause the bag was sealed. They stayed fresh for a long time even after the party.

Yummy gummy
Nice big bag of candy. Fresh, good flavour. Bright blue colour. Packaging a little weak and tore easily, but arrived sealed.

Good, but lots of food coloring
I felt like there was alot of food coloring in the candy that didn't come out after eating too great.

Take a bite out of these!!!
Huge bag for a great price. Not only were they actually tasty, they made excellent take away gifts for my nephew's shark themed birthday. They were exactly what I needed.
