As with any miniature (metal or plastic), it is advisable to watch them with soapy water to remove any residue of the release agent which could interfere with the good adhesion of the first coat of paint. Since the Bones miniatures are made of flexible plastic, they can take bad poses in the blister pack: you can easily correct or change this by immersing the miniature in very hot water, then dipping it in ice water to fix the new pose. This technique is very useful to give variety to your units of identical miniatures or when kit bashing.
