Long cables & includes battery temperature sensor.
Great quality charger with extra long cables. Includes a wall mount & hangar for the cables when not in use. As expected from CTEK!

This unit powers off for no reason. (CTEK MXS 25EC)
When I got this unit I attached it to my truck battery that night inside my garage and powered it on and left it charging all night. When I got up the next morning and checked on it the device was completely off. When I pressed the Mode button it powered back on and started charging again. The final green light was not on showing it had not charged any over night and shutdown. I shipped it back and ordered the higher model CTEK PRO25SE and it works great and fully charged my battery. I also have another CTEK PRO25SE (their best model) for my Class C motorhome and it also works great. I ONLY recommend the more expensive model CTEK PRO25SE . It's worth the extra money.

Reconditions the battery in a great way. Save a couple of batteries for me. I can Recommend it.

Poor Documentation but it works fairly well
The user manual sucks. The temperature sensor LED is on steady, but according to the manual, that is the 'normal' indication. I had a different CTEK model that was more full-featured, but it did not include the extra long 18-ft. cables. While the box does not specifically call out AGM batteries, it does show that 'most gel batteries' are okay with this charger. It includes an internal fan that starts up almost immediately, and the clips are plenty strong. I also have a ' Battery Tender,' but it is more like a toy compared to this unit. If I had to it over again, I would opt for a different model. I will update this review as time goes on.

Absolute piece of s..t. It is doa. For this money and the company reputation this is unacceptable.

Charger does not charge in cold weather
I have it in my campervan. The specs are good, and the supply function is good for an RV. The unit does not operate properly in cold weather, and will not charge the AGM batteries. The supply function is good for running electrical while plugged in, but will not switch to the charge function. The lights just shut off after several minutes. The manual is useless, and customer service is slow and no good. I would look for another solution.

Perfect battery charger, comes with everything I was looking for
Right out of the box, I plugged it in and connected the clamps to my SUV. It started working right away and I didn't even have to do anything (starts in normal mode). Very easy to use! I always wanted to get a battery charger and maintainer to keep my batteries in top condition. With shelter-in-place orders, this gave extra justification to finally make the purchase since I won't be driving much. This unit has a temperature sensor, thick and extra long cables, plus a wall mount - everything I was looking for right out of the box. There is a fan to keep the unit cool and it is very quiet. Happy with this purchase, if you're looking at this charger - go for it! Added bonus is that it looks nice in my garage and the cables store nicely with the included hanger. Keeps everything neat and organized.
