This print is a reproduction of a Japanese woodblock print by Kawase Hasui from the 1920s. It has been reproduced on premium matte paper with high quality glossy paper optionally available upon request. Depending on the art subject, matte paper can make for superior image quality and vice versa; snowy images generally benefit from a matte paper finish, while images with water tend to look better reproduced on glossy paper. The 11 x 16.5 inch dimensions are approximate measurements. Size varies based on original print dimension ratios. However, most Japanese print reproductions are 1/4 to 1/2 of an inch from the approximate dimensions given.
