The clariphone is a simple reed wind instrument, invented and manufactured by Sans Luthier. It is an evolution of the keyless chalumeau, in which the fingering is modified, increasing the range of the instrument to more than two and a half octaves, from B-1 to G-2, inspired by the Italian ciaramella and the Catalan flabiol, adding a hole drivable with the little finger of the left hand. It is an intuitive and decisive instrument, composed of a wooden body and a clarinet mouthpiece.
