First published by the writer A. A. Milne, the stories of Winnie the Pooh and his loveable Friends have captivated readers since its creation around 95 years ago. In celebration of its 95th anniversary, The Royal Mint has introduced a special three-coin series to mark this significant milestone. Featuring the original illustrations created by E. H. Shepard, the obverse of this Brilliant Uncirculated 50p Coin features Winnie and other familiar faces from the Hundred Acre Wood. This coin is the first in a new series, with the second coin featuring Owl, and the third Tigger, with releases in October and November, respectively. The collection is unified by the illustration of a buzzing bee which is featured on the reverse of all three coins within this series.
