Fondant is a ready to use cake decoration and icing product, which plays an excellent role to decorate cakes and to prepare 3D shape and gives good stability. A smear coating of dairy cream or butter cream on cake surface is to be done. Take desired quantity of fondant to knead or mix in a dough machine. In order to prevent sticking during the rolling of fondant into thin sheet, sprinkle a little corn starch or powdered sugar. Drape the fondant over the cake adhering to the top & sides of the cake. Remove the excess fondant & reseal it in a polybag. Decorate the cake as desired. Cover cake and put in the freezer to freeze
