All Ecoworks Marine products are compliant and surpass the MARPOL Annex 5 1.7.5 criteria and are declared not harmful to the marine or river environment. ECOworks use HDPE 2 material for packaging their products as this type of plastic is made mainly from postconsumer products and are recyclable at the end of their useful life. HDPE plastic is the most environmentally stable of all plastics – they do not contain BPA, phthalates, heavy metals or allergens, giving off no harmful fumes into the environment. Our sanitizer is tested and approved valid against all coronaviruses, including 2019 n-CoV / SARS-CoV-2. It is approved to EN14476 against enveloped viruses as defined in EN 14476:2013 + A2:2019. This is the only marine focused sanitizer certified! It is also certified to EN1276, EN13697, EN13623 and EN1650 standards. Very few sanitizers conform to as many standards. Our sanitizer uses an organic acid. Environmentally more responsible and as effective. We are also not facing the same supply challenges as many traditional chemical companies are. Furthermore most sanitizers on the marketplace use quaternary ammonium chloride technology, a corrosive substance usually found in pesticides.
