From The Earth is a Jordanian Fair Trade company, dedicated to improving the lives of the artisans we work with. Our olive wood products are hand cut and hand sanded from the trimmings of Jordanian olive trees after the harvest. Wood grains and hues will vary because of the nature of our product. Our commitment to excellent quality ensures each piece is individually inspected by Jordanian women. The bark bowl surfaces are coated with beeswax to ensure durability and long life. They are appropriate for hard food items like nuts, but should not be used with hot foods or liquids.
