We are now proud to bring you the Synthetic version of the Mexican Straw Roof Thatch! This Palm Thatch is a lot more durable than the natural, but that doesn’t mean it is unbreakable. The stands that are woven together are still thin, so please when you install the cape be very careful not to snag the strands. With enough pressure they will snap. The synthetic thatch panel can be left outside rain or shine, just make sure it is secured in enough places to the structure that strong winds do not cause a lot of flapping and hence tearing. We would also recommend removing the cover during snow or ice due to extra weight.
