"Dung cakes", made from the by-products of animal husbandry, are traditionally used as fuel in India for making food in a domestic hearth called a Chulha. They are made by hand by village women and are traditionally made from cow or buffalo dung. One dung cake of an average size gives 2100 kJ worth of energy. 25 PC

Good quality
I purchased this to home cook Bihar Famous Litti in Bangalore. I tried Making it previously on an Appam tray & Gas Tandoor but missed the authentic texture & softness of the litti when cooked on cow dung cake. Though I felt it would have been great if the thickness of the cake was a bit more. But I am very satisfied to get this delivered from Patna to Bangalore. Kudos to the seller.

Order only if you don't have any option
I'm getting progressively worse products at Amazon. Very thin and fragile. Size you can see in photo. 350 for 50 such cakes is not worth it. A simple agnihotra will take 2-3 cakes.

It's too small
In images as well as description they have mentioned that it will be in bigger size but when I received it was smaller size. In normal term I would say they have shown and mentioned bhatura size and give a papdi chat's puri size.

Quality wise it's very good
Quality wise these cow dung cakes are excellent pure not mixed with any grass or any materials which makes an excellent fertilizer for plants. Hence forth I do recommend buying these cow dung cakes.
