The CSI-HDMI adapter board is designed for the RPi High Quality camera board to extend the camera over the long cables while keeping the high-speed signals away from noise and interference. It can also be used with V1 and V2 Pi camera board, but it's better for HQ camera because of the same board size and hole pitch, which makes it has no hassle to assemble them together. With high speed HDMI cable, the camera can run over 10 meters, which high extends the use range for Raspberry pi cameras.
