Ankle Keeper (small)

Description

Designed by a certified wound care physician, the Ankle Keeper (Formerly Ankle Guardian) is an effective, discreet and comfortable offloading device for the prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers on the ankle bones (malleoli). The elastic sleeve has a removable custom “U” shaped foam cushion located over the malleolus that sits in an external pocket on the sleeve. This device is designed to allow lymphatic and edema drainage in the physiologic direction toward the heart, minimize edge effect and off-load the ankle bone (malleolus). Made from moisture wicking fabric, the foam can be removed and washed, as can the sleeve.
