Like the official V200W, the Mikasa V300W ball is a construction of 18 perfectly balanced panel pieces. The shape and aerodynamic arrangement of the panels increased the visibility of the ball as well as the controllability of the ball. In addition to geometric innovations, the V300W is also equipped with dimple technology. The many small recesses on the microfibre skin give the ball a special grip. This assists players in the accuracy of their passes. In addition, due to the increased air resistance (analogous to the behavior of a golf ball), the speed of the ball is slightly reduced and causes very similar flight characteristics to the V200W. Finally, the newly developed sweat-absorbing nano balloon silica function has also been built into this volleyball. This means that the ball always retains its excellent grip even during long and intense movements with many ball contacts. The V300W is certified with the highest quality (FIVB Approved, DVV1) seals and is therefore approved for international and national competitions.
