MERV 16 Air Filtration Material to use for DIY projects custom size air 16 is designed to trap over 95 Percent of microscopic particles in all 3 ranges per ASHRAE 52. 2. If you are looking to create your own air filter projects, you can sandwich the material in between your regular cloth layers to create additional air filtration protection.
