Sure, although heavier discs resist wind better. If you play a lot you will "outgrow" the weight Personally, I have like 7 of them in my bag from 160 to 180 grams, and use them a lot. As an aside, this is esp plastic so it wont beat in, or season as quickly as x or z plastic.
