System works well. Stable and good distance. The app is a joke compared to spypoint. For the monthly cost and entry price it should have some basic features and not rely so heavily on the website. Still, there is nothing on the market with the networking these things have. Give and take.

I live on 90 acres in the wooded hills of WV. I bought these cameras with the hope that I could build a wireless network on my property and be able to check my cameras without spreading scent in the woods. I placed one camera about 1000 yards from my house and the other at around 1600 yards. I bought a home unit and placed it on my back porch, all 3 are powered by the solar panel/battery. My main concern was that the heavily wooded and mountainous terrain would be to much and I wouldn't have a good signal, however I was pleasantly surprised that both cameras had a good signal (about 40 to 50 out of 100) and seem to be working. They are well made and I am pleased with the overall quality of the product, but there are a few things that are very disappointing. After a few days of having these cameras up I still hadn't received any pictures. I have had other cameras in the same locations for years and I know that I should have gotten some pics, so I placed traditional trail cameras on the same spots to see if I was missing anything. A week later I checked and sure enough I have pics on the old trail cameras of deer standing right in front of the Cuddelinks and they hadn't taken any pictures. I did end up getting a few pictures a few days later but I would say that the Cuddelinks didn't take pictures of at least 50% of the deer that were directly in front of them and the pics that I did get were of really poor quality. When it comes down to it the pictures are what its all about, this is a really neat set up but if I can't tell what's on the picture and it only works half the time it's basically worthless. I'm not done with them yet, I'll use them this season and see if I can tweak the settings to improve performance but I'll probably end up moving on to something else.

Always consistent picture quality, really like the cellular plan program and that you can change the settings for each camera from your laptop at home. I've run this system for a couple seasons now and have had no problems

supprised me with a 4-D battery setup vs. the previous AA - I like the upgrade in power since D batteries last longer. yet to be determined if 4-D alkaline will last as long as needed vs. the 6-D adaptor i bought to upgrade my AA driven cameras.

I feel that the utility value is 5 stars. Cuddeback needs to develop an app that allows capabilities of setting cameras from Bluetooth or remotely thru cellular. Other cameras on the market seem to have better sensitivity settings as well as picture quality and come with an app. I am happy with the purchase and would recommend anyone in the market to give them a try.
