This display set contains two different £2 coins that were issued in 2006 to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the birth of the famous engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel, 1806 to 2006. The first coin depicts the Paddington Railway Station in London, KM.ref.1061. The second shows the portrait of Brunel, pipe in mouth, KM.ref.1060. The obverse of each coin shows the mature portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. The coins are bimetallic, 28.4mm in diameter and in UNC (Uncirculated) condition. Our manufacturing process is a precision laser cutting method to create holes in which the coins can be inserted: thus holding securely in position without harming them.
