Kirkland Signature Chicken Breast, 12.5 Ounce (6) (Pack of 6)

I keep these on hand for casseroles. My favorite brand. Quality chicken for Chicken salad too.

This is a good quality product and contains nothing but chicken breast--no hidden skin or offputting surprises. However, what is a bit disappointing is what is called "net weight." Going back a number of years, I believe "net" meant the actual product without any liquids in which the product was packed. What you're getting in the 12.5-ounce can now is 7 ounces of meat. Boiling this down to cost per a 16-ounce pound is $9.12. (My saying a "16-ounce pound" is just a sarcastic swipe at manufacturers' habit of shaving off ounces and making the unaware believe you're still getting as much.) The price is more than double what you'd pay for fresh. A costly convenience, but a convenience nonetheless. I would purchase again if only just to have that convenience available in a pinch.

Nice to have for a quick lunch. Add some blue cheese, buffalo sauce, etc. In a tortilla, makes a quick and easy lunch wrap.Would buy again.

I use this as a staple in my pantry. It can be used in so many recipes. It's also very satisfying when you just need a little pick-me-up. Keep extra for a rainy day. I recommend them!

The chicken comes in whole chunks, with very few strands. Soaking or rinsing off the meat with distilled water removes the brine. Most of the meat is dark meat, which has more nutrients than breast meat alone. I'll be ordering another pack for this seasons camping trips. Truly impressive for a canned meat product.

Consistent good quality chicken. Have been using it for years and will continue too.I see other reviews that talk about damaged cans. I've also had some damaged cans. But lets be realistic, its heavy and shipped to your home likely at no additional cost. Its not going to be handled like a Fabergé Egg nor do you want to pay for that handling.

Easy to use and very tasty!

I Made Chicken Salad using the Kirkland's Premium Chunk Chicken Breast and was very pleased with the product. That's a bigger statement than it would be for others.I gave up cigarettes and pop about 1.5 years ago. A medication I was on made my favorite pop taste horrible! So...that part was easy. Anyway, my taste buds changed completely, and I no longer like meat. It actually gags me because it tastes so bad to me. I have problems getting the protein my body needs.I decided to give this a try and it worked. I believe I'll use it in soup a lot, since I really didn't care for mayonnaise either... Of course it arrived quickly with a little dent here and there; nothing major. It has about a 2 year shelf life, which is excellent. I'll be ordering this and ordering more, as well as recommending it to others.
